Why O-Find is not a dating app

We don’t need another way to meet strangers. We need better tools for people who already choose each other, and a product that refuses the discovery feed.

Dating apps optimize for discovery

Typical dating products grow with public profiles, matching, browsing, and reach. That model is fine for meeting people. It is a poor home for intimate preference maps.

O-Find optimizes for private clarity

  • No public discovery: you are not a card in a stranger’s stack
  • No feed: preference content is not social content
  • Invitation only: QR or Partner ID, mutual accept
  • Self first: reflect alone, share when ready

If someone is not invited and does not accept, you are not opening an intimate channel with them inside O-Find.

Who it is for

Adults (18+) in connections they already trust enough to invite: couples, partners, and private relationships of many shapes, so long as the product never becomes “find people nearby.”

Who it is not for

  • People looking to browse strangers
  • Anyone seeking a public social network for intimacy content
  • Under-18 users (not allowed)

Why the distinction matters

Clear positioning protects users, keeps store and ad review honest, and tells clinicians and educators what they are recommending: a communication tool, not a marketplace.
